Losing a pet is like losing
a solid ground in a shaky war
She was like a home I returned to
when I felt battered
She was like an unwavering supporter
always there when I needed to vent
She was so loyal to a fault
and yet she won my heart like no other
Pets are our best friends
They left holes in our hearts
and gaze points when our eyes wander
in searching for their shadows
around us
Flicker of Thoughts 
They are our confidants, our friends. They are the only ones who are there during our darkest moments. I hope that you find comfort knowing that your cat adored you.

I don’t mind telling you.. I cried like a baby when I lost my “Ol Man”.
That was in 1993… I still grieve. ☹️
