Harmony

You listen to my rambling words.
They are lack of cohesion.
How on earth you hear me
clearer than my own understanding?

I watch your struggling emotions.
They are lack of truth.
You wonder why I smile
at the thought of your future,
beyond today’s turmoil.

We are at ease with ourselves
in each other’s presence.
We see the best versions of us
in unifying harmony.

    1. It’s written for a friendship that 2 people looked past each others facade and saw the real person. It’s a fresh of breath to have that mutual respect, understanding and encouragement. Not sure it is soulmate, it is an excellent partnetship if we do business or do life together.

  1. It’s wonderful to see past each other’s flaws and find perfection in imperfection. I enjoyed this piece. Thank you!
