Six Sentence Story prompt – Random
Rain always brings me surprise
Autumn burns me with her splendid colours
No one comes into my life by chance
Devine appointment has its exact time and place
October 2010 you walked into me to escape the rain
Moments in life are never random
It was fate. It was meant to be.

This is such a cool piece! This part stuck out to me especially: “October 2010 you walked into me to escape the rain / Moments in life are never random”

Love this short six. Yes, randomness beneath its scatty exterior is often super organised and planned out I reckon.

I liked the brevity and use of “random” as the first letter of each sentence.

Stand far enough above and randomness loses it’s surprise and becomes inevitability.
Good Six

We feel similar. I am not sure of randomness and coincidence. Good job on this.

So true. Random is only from our point of view. If we could pull back the veil, we’d see it had to happen.
