The Selfish Writer

She woke up in the middle of the night, he was smoking weed, tripping and reading a book.

We need to break up, she said, I am breaking up with you; What? Why? What’s going on babe?

I am a write, and I can’t write without feeling things, I haven’t been feeling it since I met you.

But baby, how can that be my fault, I haven’t done anything wrong, he protested.

Shut up and fuck me to oblivion, my head hurts.

He obliged, she is his sin and everything is about her.

      1. I am not sure. I also received notification of your comment and post via email that I can’t stop. They go to email spam now. It seems like you have a master setting or some sort. 🫑

      2. Man wordpress is weird and complicated. Well if you’re talking about notifications for comments on your own blog there’s a bunch of settings for that in your profile settings. But I just discovered something else in the mobile app which might’ve fixed my issueβ€” I went to your post’s comment section, clicked ‘Follow’, clicked the bell icon which appears in place of ‘Follow’, changed the toggle in the pop-up settings to ‘Disable in-app notifications’, then clicked ‘Unfollow’. Hopefully that’s done it. But it’s a setting that is really obscure to access! And in fact I had to do the disable/unfollow steps in 2 parts because otherwise wordpress would immediately re-enable the in-app notifications all by itself πŸ˜‚.
