I make my bed
everyday
I tidy up after myself
as I go

a calm appearance
hides
a turbulent mind
that’s why
I make conscious effort
to breathe
I delay in responding
to mayhem

I do that when I cook. I clean up as I finish using them. That way, there’s not too much chaos in the sink when I’m done after my meal.
