At times,
our world seems so dim
and no light can penetrate.
Our heart bleeds out.
It feels dawn will never come again
and we will never regain strength.
When I read,
“The sun will be turned into darkness
and the moon into blood.”
I know the peace and hope are coming
when the lion lies down with the lamb.
