Togetherness

I had been alone for so long
that I lost the sense of togetherness.
I had been introspective deep within
that I forgot simplicity is wisdom.
I sat in quietness to watch the ocean instead of allowing myself to immerse in its tranquility.
I had removed myself from any close relationship so nobody could notice my absence.

But
it only took a smile,
an encouraging voice,
a positive vibe
and
a loving heart
for me
to dip in the sunlit turquoise warmth
to regain togetherness
in an inate harmony
as the shore welcoming the waves.
