What if
I don’t see a
a blue sky
through all the grey tears
What if
rain is more than
appreciation
non stop till
it floods the land
and I don’t see
green hills
What if
the spring flowers
lose their vibrancy
the autumn leaves
fade in a flash
winter overatays
my welcome
What if
black is too supressing
white is too bland
and grey always
colours my soul
Colourless

What if … the world was falling down?

Wowsers. The opening of this really drew me in. You’ve written the emotions so well Cassa.

Losing hope is an awful feeling. Well represented here, Cassa.

Grey is for me the color of depression and hopelessness. You have expressed these doubts of coming back to living color with these questions you ask that are not random, but instead poetic doubts you have raised in your own mind…. What if I stay this way forever? Is the hanging question in the background. Very well done and thought-provoking, Cassa.

I ask, “What if you’re right?” This cuts right to the heart of living, Carrie. It is a conundrum – joyous, sad, confusing, filled with love, devastating, uplifting – ALL and nothing. Just wow!
