I am not sure who you wrote this for, but my grandmother passed away on her birthday, a year ago today. This is touching, as she was like a mother to me.

Eric Clapton had it all wrong. There are no tears in Heaven, since our friend is dancing with the angels. It’s us who have the tears, for it’s us who lost a friend. It’s a beautiful ode to a beautiful friend. Loved it.
