Bricks and mortar struck into rubble
We are the doves used for sin offering
Our necks are wrung
Our blood are drained
Our bodies are burnt
If only Cain loved Able
War

I like how you brought it all back to Cain and Abel in the last line.

Cain sinned a big sin, and yet God still poured out grace on him and his descendants.

This was very cleverly written Cassa. Well done. Killing is a terrible thing as is war. I understand the Ukrainian people protecting their families and their children. They are a brave people but so sad this ever began. We are so blessed to have our faith. Big hugs and love โค๏ธ Joni

War is devastating. May who suffers receive peace in Christ.

It’s the ‘us’ who suffer. Well said, Cassa. ๐

This is breathtaking, Cassa. We haven’t learned a thing in the millennia that separate us from Cain and Able.

People sent the mass into war, they themselves are definitely not at the frontline fighting. I watched the movie Vice by Christian Bale about Dick C. Very interesting
