Have you ever been blinded by the pain?

So blinded by selfishness

Good question: “And does that mean we cannot change?” I think we can when the Holy Spirit renews us.

Yes, I’ve definitely been blinded by pain. Physically, childbirth was a doozy; it passed. Emotionally, I’ve been “blind-sided”; it passed too but took way longer. I think mentally we have to challenge ourselves to either lower our expectations or be prepared for worse. Good thoughts, Carrie.
