It’s hard to to get into gear today.
Lunch time passed without me noticing the absence of breakfast.
I looked at the to do list trice and pretended nothing to do.
I sat very close to the window so daydreaming on clouds wasn’t too obvious.
Black coffee was kept warm by the sunlight through the window
while my cheeks sensed the burn.
I’ve never felt so good about being stuck in the present.
Tomorrow doesn’t need to come, really, stay here, right now!
A State of Mind

I’ve been here. Many a time.

Good Cassa… funny, in my city, we have coffee upon awakening, then a couple (or three) hours later we have a light sandwich or an omelette sandwich, then after 1430 hours we have what you call “lunch”… Cheers and a great day to you!

You have longer daylights, our lunch is more like 12-1pm, but I do usually have lunch at 2-3pm but that’s a personal choice due to work schedule..

Well, thankfully the daylight is getting longer this time of the year. In the summer at 10pm it is still daylight, but in the winter after 5p it gets dark and sunrise is not until after 9,30 am… All the best Cassa.

I love that feeling. It appears that the old adage of don’t do today what can be tomorrow is in full view. ๐
