If I Have Not Love – Matt Redman
Jesus, I could sing
In the tongues of men and angels
But if I have not love
I am just a clanging cymbal, an empty sound
Jesus, I could sing
In the tongues of men and angels
But if I have not love
I am just a clanging cymbal, an empty sound
This is a love song
This is a love song
Jesus, a love song to You
A song of devotion, a reverent passion
Savior, a love song to You
Jesus, I could pray
With a faith that moves a mountain
But if I have not love
It is just a noise resounding, an empty sound
Jesus, I could pray
With a faith that moves a mountain
But if I have not love
It is just a noise resounding, an empty sound
How lovely. At my high school, some decades ago, St. Paul’s letter to the Corinthians was our assembly reading at the beginning and end of every term. I have never forgotten it. Hope, faith and love. But love (caritas) is the greatest of the three . Epic!😃

I am glad the words continue filling you with faith. One of my favourite scriptures too. Thank you for stopping by. Blessings!
