  1. Rock and roll ain’t dead. Just need to find her. I like my Beth Hart, Samantha Fish and P,J Harvey. I do agree. Writing keep me sane. Taylor Momsen, is my muse when my mind is sleeping.

      1. I will see Nick Caves in September. He is from Great Britain and rarely comes to the USA. I saw him in Detroit in 2018. Live music is always the best.

  2. I was fortunate (?) enough to have seen the birth of Rock & Roll..
    (pre Elvis Presley).
Back then it was an โ€˜escapeโ€™. But these days it is as you say.. it kinda died.
So here I am in my mid 70โ€™s.. listening to 50..60.. and even 70 year old songs. And though the reasons may be different, Iโ€™m still looking for some sort of โ€˜escapeโ€™…. be it only temporary.
Thatโ€™s probably the main reason why I still ride a motorcycle…..
Therapy is expensive, Wind is cheap.
    Blessings, my friend…

    1. Music is an escape for me. So good music is important to help me achieve mood lifting. Some music does that well, some, can send me to a downward spiral. And my friend, you are wise to enjoy a ride and to be in the wind. ๐Ÿ’š

  3. Sister Bassa,

Rock on (oops!) or jazz up and stay cool.

    Watch your back cause

    Wackos carry canes.

Keep your peace and sleep well.

Best wishes to you and all in our

mad, mad, and getting madder by the moment, world.

And may Lord GOD save us from ourselves. Amen!

    Peace. ๐Ÿ™‚
