Plague

the plague swept the land
its inhabitants rushed to
store up essentials in barns
the moths and rodents rejoiced
while infected their household
with disease more vicious than
the original plague

    1. The disease is call ‘selfinshness’….store back up essentials is acceptable like extra pack of something, but store in barns is another thing all together. That’s the longer version of my short poem.🤪

      1. That makes sense. We’re experiencing a bit of this in the world right now, maybe more than the usual bit. Hopefully things will get better.
