Cicadas, kookaburras and seagulls
are in full blown voice competition
from their own colony
No one knows
how does this seemingly chaotic battle tune coexist
with the synchronised sound of waves
While
Beach goers
pitch their tents, cabanas
and lay out beach towels
claiming their own
unmarked territory
No one cares
how others spend their holiday
They are quite happy
to share the sun
and the sound of nature
Summer Beach

Very nice poem!

An ode to the natural world. It’s so nice to disconnect from technology and revel in the sounds of the ocean.

Indeed! Sun baking and just listening to the nature sound revitalise our souls.
