Goodbye my love
I leave for no greener pasture
Keep my frozen gaze under lock and key

She is much sadder than you ever think.
Her world fades so far away from your reality.
She hides deeper within to keep your world in a constant warm glow.

She faced the light
When all shades failed her
Her prayers went out the bars
They never came back void

The world is safe
for a curious feline
hiding behind
a voiceless screen.

Girl!
Why do you love
wandering along the beach?
Don’t you fear
the harsh wind
and blistering sun
rob you off your youth?
No.
I hide
in the sea shells by day
and wear
the stars by night.
The ocean
keeps me vigourous
and she leads me
to wondrous bliss.

One night
the lilac candle
in the wind
tango danced with
the rose of Sharon
by my window sill
That overwhelming
sense of seduction
fractured my mind
In my sleep
purple daisies
flooded my dreams
My remaining
sense of clarity
screamed for
the purification
of an amethyst
She painted her nails in yellow
like the daisies thrive in desert
She painted her toes in yellow
like the sunflowers bloom on the beach
Her heart filled with sunshine
and the hope of forever green

His manic anger
burned her into
fearful blues
The fresh cyan bruises
and old sallow scars
stole her royalty
Her once thriving life
descended with
Autumn leaves
he is quiet and reserved
enjoys the company of
trees and wild plants
birds and insects
are his family
he tells the time
by the shadows of the woods
he knows danger
by its sound
he nurtures his soul
by going deeper and deeper
into the forest
he wears moonlight
dances by the fire
sings over the wildflowers
sleeps in the cradle of
the jungle
he is a forest child
full of vitality
harmony
and
enigma

Make your home in me
Father Son and the Spirit
We are bound in one
You promised You are for us
Who will be against us now
