Transmitting heartbeats
Between lovers
Separated by the need
To make a living
In different cities
Unable to share
A cosy bed
Expressing passion
Skin to skin
Thankfully
The old days
Of snail mail
Have long sunsided
The new days technology
Keeping them bound
Flicker of Thoughts 
Oooh, super good! Technology has forever changed communication. Wonder how many relationships it has created and given a chance. Snail mails seems such a pain in some ways now, but it still is joyous to get something in the mail like that. This poem makes me think deeply!

Long distance relationships are so heart-wrenching. It takes a lot of love and understanding to keep them going. To be together, but with so much distance in between. Wonderfully expressed! 🙂
