There was a King. His power was no rivalry on earth and in heavens. He became friends with an ordinary man named Abram so He blessed Abram and his descendants.

Now Abram is long passed but his descendants are fighting in Gaza. In the midst of the crossfire, the oppressed lift up their voices to cry out ‘YHWH! Allah!’ The King has compassion to Abram’s sons and daughters and He weeps.

The Six Sentence Story prompt – Change

Christmas is the celebration of a true King born in a barn. A son was born from wedlock.

All the Christmas decorations are up and in grand display. It grieves me to walk the hussle bussle street in twinkling lights and watch ashen faces begging for spare change. I often wonder is the spare change you ask for, or the human love you call me to share.

1 year of sweet sugar romance
1 day at a time dilution of love
1 bit of sour taste of lemon
1 lot of sweeten venom
2 to 3 years of cold hostility
1 final twist of bitter bile
