When humans invaded nature
all things made ways
to let humans have dominion over them
They hoped at least
some would respect and love them back
Since heavens invaded earth
human spirits have been subjected to gods
Our free will chose the god we serve
We hope at least
one God would love us back
We believe we are more than a thing
Would God consider we are more than human
Flicker of Thoughts 
I believe most in the world would say we are made in God’s image, whether the majority of major world religions or even science typed that believe we were seeded by another race similar to us.
Either case, to be made is God’s image would mean we must be pretty important and more than a “thing” to who created us.
