Purple Dream

I remember watching you disappeared into the sea of jacaranda last Spring.
You took the ending chapter of our story with you and left me with the blank pages.

Last night, I dreamed of reading by the jacaranda tree. Purple hearts filled the empty pages overflowing like confetti.

In the morning I reached out for the remnant of you. But the Autumn air was cold enough to frost my purple dream.

      1. Oh you were doing so great. Your work was so lovely. Did it get to be to much? I hope you will stay on WordPress. Love Joni๐Ÿค—โค๏ธ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ’•

      2. Glad to hear that my friend, that you are still here. I have had some bad experiences on Instagram with seeing horrific pornography. Now I am very careful to not go into messages unless I know or have known the artist for a while. It is sad we have to be so careful. There are a lot of legitimate artists who sell their beautiful work online, many of which are people I follow and admire greatly. I hope thatโ€™s not what happened to you as somethings canโ€™t be unseen unfortunately. Glad youโ€™re still on WordPress as you are a talented poet. Love and hugs Cassa ๐Ÿค— Joni

      3. I am sorry to hear that happened to you. My situation was that I browsed makeup tutorials and my feed was flooded with product sales ads. The same goes to art supplies and fashions. I got so tired of hiding the ads and deleting them. I didn’t want to be the product that the platforms were targeting.

      4. Oh I totally understand that. I donโ€™t have ads but I hope that I donโ€™t get them because there are some products I would feel uncomfortable supporting. Got it. Sending you lots of hugs and love โค๏ธ Cassa
