Come Back

I want to
give in
to wine

But 
wine is only
the vessel 
that takes me
to you

All the good times
we had
long faded
onto the ground
like snowflakes

But 
wine
when its full body
swells in my mouth
you came alive
in me
again

    1. A side note, I stop drinking alcohol unintentionally. I used to be able to have a glass or two when in social setting. I tried to keep it that way. But for the recent 2 years, I just could not stomach alcohol, they gave me headache and upset stomach. So now in social settings, I just have lemon lime and bitters. I must say I am not heart broken about it. 😁
