Humiliation

She receives everyone’s pity
like holding out her hands
to collect the winter rain

Worthlessness saturates her being
sending chills to her bones

  1. Not a good feeling for anyone and yet it seems humiliated others has become a horrendous past time with social media. I would not want to have a young child to raise these days. Lovely though very sad piece Cassa. Big hugs and love.

      1. So very true Cassa. I totally agree everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect. People should also be given the benefit of the doubt at least once also. I try so hard not to judge people unless I have seen them be mean to others or myself. I am not saying I am perfect, I am human but I really try. I know that feeling growing up very well. Have a really blessed weekend. Love ❀️ Joni

  2. It should be ‘sending’ btw. Don’t worry love, you’ll get there! 😳😜 kidding.

But yeah this is interesting. Pity was what I received from family in place of empathy, and they never actually learned the difference. I don’t think it was out of malice they just didn’t get it. My little bro got it.

When you injure yourself badly and you’re dad’s going ‘ohhhh Robin’ in an exasperated tone it increases the pain 10 times πŸ˜†.
