The pain of breaking in new shoes
before they fit like gloves
The exhilarating new love we feel
Make love till it hurts
Rain and blue sky
both beautiful
Pain and pleasure
blurry is the line
Co-existence

The pain of breaking in new shoes
before they fit like gloves
The exhilarating new love we feel
Make love till it hurts
Rain and blue sky
both beautiful
Pain and pleasure
blurry is the line
This is so true. It’s as though we’re balanced on the thinnest of lines, and oscillating back and forth.

Yes, there is no middle ground cos middle ground is boring, perhaps?

One balances precariously upon it. And the blur can be so misleading. 🙂

We are times all strive for balance, and yet we blame balance to be too boring or mundane.

Thanks Jaya. Nowadays I buy shoes which I don’t need to break in. 😁

The line is very blurry, and then, not blurry at all. Love this poem, Cassa. 🧡
