Roses And A Bee

The roses are fragrant clouds
resting upon my keen attention
the bee flutters
drowning in nectar
losing its mind

Such frantic love
moves me to regret
Overwhelming beauty
deserves deep dives
liberating from
any hope of tomorrow
or freedom of life

  1. This is beautiful Cassa. I love the metaphor using the bee, what a strong visual your give to your readers. I too loved the ending as well. I wanted to let you know I don’t have a translator yet and I can’t seem to figure out how to get one without paying for it. I would love to translate your other poetry. I think it is wonderful that you are writing in two languages, it is a very admirable thing to do. Blessings!

    1. Thanks Joni! My mobile WordPress has a translator function. If I long pressed the texts and highlight them, then the option of translation appears. Perhaps look at the setting or tools to see if you can activate it? If you have not already had it activated.
