You were raging, splattering, raving and rattling the cage

I was standing and watching you in amazement

I was made to have keen observant eyes to spot you

You gravitated me to glue to your contorting face even in the most gruesome illustration

You could bring on the devil’s horns
I felt at ease and knew
I would tame that to peace

The moment of departure

My heart departed

a bearer of the good news
the hunger crowd saw Him
hearing your trials and burdens
gravitated by that killer sense of humour

I see you a friend
to many in despair and torment
they know Him through
your presence and kindness
humbled by your past

I see you
I see you from the beginning
fearfully and wonderfully made
a topaz of the royal crown

Vision of you

I saw the boy in you
full of love for the world and
the people in it

over and over again with
no one dusting you off

the unheard words
and unfelt love

An Oyster’s Lament

copulating in a big city
with wealth, envious climate and limelight
parasites to city waste and engine oil

not worthy as treasure
nor tasteful as delicacy
nor beautiful as decoration

a life meaningless
lack of joy
missing its calling

what more does it take to lose heart
soul
and spirit
to crash all
still lost
but not found
