Blogger Award

Hello Fellow Bloggers, I am pleased to receive the Sunshine Blogger Award from Benjamin, an amazing storyteller at Brothers’ Campfire

What is the Sunshine Blogger Award?

The award is driven entirely by the community, passed from blogger to blogger in recognition of their inspiring, creative and motivational blogs. Each nominee passes it on to 11 of their favorite bloggers, and round and round it goes. This is a great way to give recognition to new bloggers and those who may otherwise fly under the radar of many people.

For accepting the Sunshine Blogger Award nomination, there are a few suggestions:

• Thank the blogger(s) who nominated you and link back to their blog.

• Answer questions the blogger asked you.

• List the suggestions and display the Sunshine Blogger Award in your blog post.

• Nominate new bloggers & their blogs. Leave a comment on their blog to let them know they received the award and ask your nominees new questions.

Heartbreaker

She holds them
like crystal glasses
drinks from them
their sparks, strength
and class

They make her lips
ultra voluptuous
the way they dance
across her bottom lip
the cherry wine
stains them
into crimson velvet

She treats them
with dull conversation
and scratches them
with her sharp claws
the closer they get
the clearer her fangs

Childlike

My God is a big big God. He has the whole world in His hand.

God I am sorry I told Jimmy he is stupid becuase You don’t think he is stupid and You don’t think I am stupid for saying that.

Thank you for a sunny day. My kitten can go outside and play.

Please help the bushfires, the firefighters, people lost their homes and the dying animals in Australia.

Please help me to always remember how good You are and how much You love me.

Love

I love you like a sunflower looks up patiently for the rain
I love you like a child dances freely with the ocean waves
I love you like a helper takes upmost pride in her protector
I love you like a humble servant selflessly waits her master
I love you like a saint keeps no record of wrongs
I love you like a gentle soul forever keeps you safe and secure
I love you like this all my waking moment every day
I don’t know how to love you any other way

The Blessing in Death

I always try to attend funerals
be my love ones
be my enemies
be someone perhaps I don’t even know that well

Funeral is the place
I always recount the best of the diseased
instead of their wrong doings
or minor irritations

Divorce is like a funeral
I store all the good bits
in my memory bank
as long as the body is not
getting resuscitated
dust to dust
ashes to ashes

Failed First Love

We both know
love died long time ago
What we are feeling
is the remain of
yesterday

You are doing
all you can
to make up for
the illusion of
hurting me

I accept
your apologetic act
of kindness
to keep you from guilt

I am doing
all I can
to lock away
the past
where my heart
broke into pieces
out of warmth
out of blood
out of means
to fight

Today
we talk
we laugh
You are still
someone’s other half
and
I am standing on
wobbly knees
to withstand
what life
is throwing
at me
I wish you well
I am in love and happy

And yet
no one will ever
repair my past
where my heart
once snapped
in half

Life in Darkness

The NoblemanWarrior prompt

The forest is such a dark place
she has a witch charm
draws me deep into
her cradle of despair

Hope dresses in a patch of new life
reminds me who I am
a heritage of God
destined for greatness
